Your Contract Wasn't Written for AI
Presented by Brad Gross, Esq.
July 17, 2026 @ 1 PM EST
For years, MSP service agreements were written around familiar and predictable risks: outages, security incidents, missed deadlines, service failures, and human error.
AI changes the equation.
AI systems produce probabilistic, not predictive, outcomes. An AI solution might give two different answers when asked the same question twice.
And if your agreement hasn't been updated in the past year or so, it might be written for that reality.
You need to reconsider how your customer-facing agreements address responsibility, customer expectations, data use, human oversight, third-party AI platforms, reliance on AI-generated output, and the limits of what your company can promise.
It's time to update your policies with your customers. It's time to talk about AI implementation and, most importantly, governance.
